Dunhill, the British fashion house, under John Ray a new creative director launched a new fragrance for men in early 2015. The fragrance was named Icon and Carlos Benaim the great perfumer created it. He describes it as, "Icon is the perfect pronouncement of natural refinements, a conversion of the classical and luxurious heritage of the Dunhill house. The man wearing Icon is masculine and sophisticated gentleman." The composition is woody aromatic with an opening of fresh bergamot and neroli absolute. The heart includes the spicy and aromatic notes of lavender, black pepper and cardamom, the woody base is composed of vetiver, smoky oud, leather and oak moss. Andrew Cooper became the face of the campaign, and shot by famous photographer Annie Leibovitz. The fragrance launched in heavy metal bottles of 50ml and 100ml Eau de Toilette.
